Editor's Note
This ruined, two-storey mansion with a courtyard, built using the bağdadi (lath-and-plaster) technique, has an L-shaped plan. It is said to have been built by Memiş Ağa, using Italian masters, during the War of '93 (the Ottoman-Russian War of 1877-78).
