Editor's Note
The bridge over the Kalabak Stream that runs through the district is a reinforced-concrete bridge built in 1919 by the Italians who occupied the district during the War of Independence. Today it lies just to the east of the highway and is used as a one-way route for leaving the district towards Aydın.
