Editor's Note
The Aslanli Kisla Mosque, also known as the Kisla Saray (Barracks Palace) Mosque, was built in 1819 (AH 1235) by the Governor of Konya, Huseyin Pasha. According to its inscription, now in the Mevlana Museum, the work is also called the Saray Mosque because it stood near the building that Kadi Abdurrahman Pasha had erected as the Konya Provincial Government House.
