Built by compacting stones measuring 15x30 cm and 10x20 cm, the historic bridge is 2 meters wide and 15 meters long from end to end. Its piers rest on two separate bedrock outcrops on either side. The valley the bridge spans reaches a depth of up to 20 meters in places. Positioned on hard rock masses, the bridge has undergone repairs in different periods but has largely retained its originality. In the recent past it was reinforced with a tie beam placed at the highest point of the arch. Generally in good condition, the Roman Bridge is no longer in use today.
