Editor's Note
Built in 1811, the mosque has a square plan and a hipped roof. The carved woodwork and hand-painted decoration inside are striking. The interior features a U-shaped wooden mezzanine. An Ottoman banner presented to the mosque is another feature that makes the building significant. See Res. Asst.
