The tomb was built over two stories. The square body is set back 40 cm from the base platform. At the top the walls become octagonal through chamfers. On the octagonal drum sits the dome, the southwestern part of which has completely collapsed. The transition to the dome is made by squinches. In the plan drawn up by Orhan C. Tuncer, the square-plan crypt section is covered by a barrel vault. There are no openings in the walls. The crypt and prayer-room sections of the tomb are entered through doors opening in the middle of the east wall. There are traces indicating that the prayer-room section was reached by a double-flight staircase.
