Editor's Note
In 2002, the well-preserved remains of a bath were discovered in the village of Ağlasun in Turkey's Burdur Province. The bath is a small building consisting of four interior rooms connected to a semi-open area. In terms of its plan and its technical and decorative features, it can be compared with similar buildings constructed in Turkey during the first half of the 13th century. Most of these baths were built as part of caravanserais, and there is some evidence that the bath at Ağlasun was likewise integrated into a caravanserai.
