Editor's Note
The cable car system established in the mid-19th century to bring ores mined in the Yatağan region down from the slopes of Aksivri Mountain to the Milas Plain and on to Güllük Harbor was operated from the control building located here. It is said to have been the first cable car system built in Anatolia.
