On Tavşantepe, within the boundaries of the Güneş neighborhood, stone blocks were encountered in an area earmarked for development as a children's playground. A rescue excavation carried out in 2017-18 uncovered the foundation of a circular-plan structure. Although the remains are thought to belong to the layout of a building such as a temple or a funerary monument, the purpose for which it was built remains unclear.
