Editor's Note

Hyllarima was an inland town of northeastern ancient Caria, its site located near Mesevle in present-day Kavaklıdere, Muğla. It is the find-site of about 30 inscriptions and the type-site of one variant of the Carian alphabets. The town governed a number of rural sanctuaries, the most notable being that of Zeus Hyllos.
