The mosque, said to be one of the oldest in Burdur, was rebuilt in 1917 together with its present minaret after collapsing in the 1914 earthquake (Burdur Provincial Yearbook, 1955; p.99). It underwent repairs by the General Directorate of Foundations in 2008-2009.
