Editor's Note
The Boğaziçi Mosque was built in 1772. The mosque's ceiling features fine woodwork ornamentation. Its column arches and walls are decorated with hand-painted floral motifs. The wall decorations also include religious inscriptions within panels and depictions of the Kaaba.
