The Catholic-Syriac Mor Circis (St. George) Church is located in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood of the Ömerli district of Mardin province. As the church has no construction inscription, it is not known when or by whom it was built. The church was renovated between 1872 and 1894, during the period of Patriarch Peter III. Set on a rectangular area, the church was built using cut stone, regular cut stone and rubble stone. It is entered through a rectangular, stone-lintelled opening on the north side of the atrium, measuring 1.20 m wide, 0.76 m deep and 1.78 m high.
