Editor's Note
The bridge spans the Savur Stream, which divides the village of Başkavak (Ahmedi) in two. There are two inscriptions on the bridge. The first is a construction inscription belonging to Hacı İbrahim, dated 1168/1755. The second, dated 1278/1861, is a repair inscription of Emir Hacı Abdullah Bey, the son of Hacı İbrahim. The bridge was built in 1168/1755 by Hacı İbrahim and repaired in 1278/1861 by his son Emir Hacı Abdullah Bey (Yıldız, 2010, p. 134).
