The Serenli Abbara is located in the Serenli (Dengiza) neighborhood, about 8 km from the Savur district of Mardin province. Built of cut and rubble stone on a rectangular plan, the abbara runs along a north-south axis. Connecting interior spaces and streets to one another, it measures 5.50 m long, 2.67 m wide and 2.90 m high. Its entrances are round-arched and the passage is covered by a barrel vault. The surfaces of the vault and the joints between the wall stones are coated with mortar.
