The Sheikh Hamit Tomb is located in the Kayaca neighbourhood of the Artuklu district of Mardin province. Dated to the late 19th century, the tomb was built with cut stone and smoothly dressed cut stone on a rectangular plot. It consists of a rectangular-plan hall and the spaces arranged around it. Through a round-arched opening on the north side of the building, one enters the rectangular-plan hall, which measures 10.0 m east-to-west and 4.55 m north-to-south. To the south of the hall there is a mihrab measuring 1.50 m wide, 1.10 m deep and 2.23 m high.
