The Tekkiye Fountain is located in the Gül neighbourhood of the Artuklu district of Mardin province. The date 1962 is inscribed above its round-arched niches. Built using masonry, the fountain was made with cut stone and smoothly dressed cut stone. With its round arch, it belongs to the group of free-standing public square fountains. The fountain niche of this structure, which has no basin, is 2.37 m wide, 2.25 m deep and 2.20 m high. The upper covering is a barrel vault on the inside and a flat roof on the outside; in the north wall there is a metal spout 0.15 m above the ground.
