The 2nd Street Abbara (a covered passageway) is located in the Gül neighbourhood of the Artuklu district of Mardin province. Built using masonry, both cut stone and rubble stone were used. The abbara has a rectangular plan and runs northeast-to-southwest. Following the slope, it connects spaces and streets to one another. Because it was built to fit the slope, its height and width vary. The abbara is 13.30 m long, averages 3.90 m in height and is 2.05 m wide. With pointed-arched entrances, the structure is covered with a barrel vault. Discolouration and mossing are observed here and there on the stones.
