The Kızlık Fountain is located in the Savurkapı neighbourhood of the Artuklu district of Mardin province. The fountain bears no construction inscription, so it is not known when or by whom it was built. However, judging by its construction technique, materials and plan, it is thought to date from the 18th-19th centuries. Built using masonry, the fountain was made with cut stone and smoothly dressed cut stone. With its pointed arch, it belongs to the group of fountains attached to other structures. The fountain niche of this two-section-basin structure is 2.35 m wide, 0.80 m deep and 2.0 m high.
