The Saray Fountain is located in the Teker neighbourhood of the Artuklu district of Mardin province. The fountain bears no construction inscription, so it is not known when or by whom it was built. However, judging by its construction technique, materials and plan, it is thought to date from the 18th-19th centuries. Built using masonry, the fountain was made with cut stone. With its pointed arch, it belongs to the group of free-standing public square fountains. The fountain niche of this two-section-basin structure is 1.92 m wide, 2.15 m deep and 2.63 m high.
