The 233 Sarilar Street Abbara lies in the Sar neighbourhood of the Artuklu district of Mardin Province. Built in masonry technique, the structure uses cut stone. Running north-south, the abbara (covered passageway) has a rectangular plan. Running along the slope, its dimensions vary. With a length of 11.60 m, the abbara has an average height of 3.0 m and a width of 3.0 m. With pointed-arched entrances, it is covered by barrel and cross vaults. As a result of restoration work, the stone surfaces have filled joints. Discolouration and biological decay are seen here and there on the stones.
