Begene Mansion 2 lies at the Zinnar locality of the Hamza Bey neighbourhood in the Artuklu district of Mardin Province. Built by the Artuqid sultans in the 14th century, this mansion is owned by their descendants, the Artukoglu (Beyt Artuk) family. It is oriented east-west on a sloping, quadrangular site. With a courtyard-and-iwan plan, the structure was built as a single storey in masonry technique of cut and finely cut stone. It is one of the examples in which the cascade-fountain iwan is itself the whole mansion. The building is entered through a lintelled, rectangular opening on the south facade whose frame has been lost.
