The Nurlu Village Monastery stands in the center of Nurlu village in the Gercüş district of Batman Province, and today only two of its churches remain standing. Church No. 2 is notable for its rectangular, apsed plan, with its roof formed by a half-dome and a barrel vault. Built using cut stone, rubble stone and cas mortar, it is used as a barn today. Stones from the monastery were reused as spolia in the construction of some houses in the village.
