Editor's Note
The Yamanlar Village Church stands in the center of Yamanlar village in the Gercüş district of Batman Province. Rectangular in plan and oriented east-west, the church consists of a worship hall, an atrium and a pastophorion chamber. The naos is barrel-vaulted, with pointed-arched niches in its north and south walls; the apse niche has been largely destroyed. Most of the roof has collapsed. The church was built with dressed cut stone, rubble stone and cas mortar.
