The Hacı Mehmet Avcı Mansion is an L-shaped, two-storey building in the Bağlarbaşı Neighborhood of the Gercüş district in Batman Province. Built on rubble-stone masonry walls, the ground floor is barrel-vaulted, while the upper floors are covered with a flat earthen roof supported by wooden beams. Movement between the floors is provided by stone stairs that begin in the inner courtyard. The mansion has rectangular rooms arranged in various directions, but its roofing and load-bearing systems have been heavily damaged.
