The 223rd Street Abbara stands in the Işıklar Neighborhood of the Midyat district in Mardin Province. Built using rubble masonry, the structure was made with cut stone. This covered passage links the rooms and streets together, runs on an east-west axis, and has a rectangular plan. Because it follows the slope of the land, its dimensions vary: on average the structure is 16.80 m long, 3.55 m wide and 3.10 m high. Its entrances are round-arched and it is covered with a cross vault.
