The Abbara No. 2 in Mercimekli Neighborhood stands in the Mercimekli (Hapsinas) Neighborhood of the Midyat district in Mardin Province. The abbara (a covered passageway under a building) was built using both cut stone and rubble stone. Running on an east-west axis, it has a rectangular plan and links the surrounding rooms and streets together. The passage is 5.25 m long, 4.0 m wide and 3.0 m high. Its entrances are round-arched and it is covered with a cross vault. Weathering and discoloration are visible on the stone surfaces; the open joints have been refilled and the vaults plastered. The passage shows widespread natural and human-caused damage.
