The Kırkat Village Mosque, located at the center of Kırkat village in the Gercüş district of Batman province, was built in 1948. The second floor of this two-story building was added in later periods, and through various repairs the mosque has largely lost its original character. The mosque consists of a front entrance area reached through an arched entrance facing north, and the prayer hall. The prayer hall is divided into two naves by piers and uses a cross-vault roofing system, while the mihrab on the south wall draws attention with its decoration.
