The Abbara No. 2 on Anayurt Avenue is located in the Söğütlü (Kinderip) neighborhood of the Midyat district of Mardin province. Built with the rubble-fill masonry technique, the abbara was constructed of cut and rubble stone. Running east to west, the abbara (covered passageway) is rectangular in plan. It connects the surrounding spaces with the streets. Running along the slope, the abbara is 9.85 m long, 2.80 m wide, and on average 2.0 m high. Its entrances are round-arched and it is covered by a barrel vault. The vault surfaces have been plastered with cement mortar, and the structure shows both natural and human-caused damage throughout.
