Running east to west, the bridge is said to have been one of four bridges that once linked Upper Cizre and Syrian Cizre (Deşta Hessına). The bridge lies about 200 meters from the Syrian border. It appears to have had four arches. Built of cut basalt stone, the bridge is now completely collapsed. Only two central piers remain, along with traces of the other piers and of the arches. The bridge is in ruins today.
