The Tepebağ Mosque is located in the Tepebağ (Tilbisim) neighborhood, 3 km south of the Derik district of Mardin province. The building was constructed of roughly hewn basalt and limestone. Measuring 14.0 m east to west and 16.0 m north to south on the exterior, the mosque rests on a rectangular plot. The mosque is entered through a front porch on the west side, measuring 2.60 m wide, 1.0 m deep, and 3.0 m high, with a pointed arch and a cross vault above. The prayer hall is rectangular in plan, measuring 13.10 m east to west and 9.0 m north to south, and is divided into two naves.
