Its original purpose was that such mansions were built specifically for landlords in the past, as a result of their mutual feuds. These manor-fortresses were constructed to provide protection much like a small castle. It lies 30 km to the southwest of Derik. Turning left at the 67th kilometer of the Mardin–Urfa road, one reaches the mansion after 1 km. From the inscriptions above the door, it is understood that it was built in 1705 (1120 AH) and renovated in 1905 (1320 AH) by Hûsên'ê Kenco.
