Editor's Note
It was built in the 16th century by Zeynel Bey, one of the Beys of Hakkari. Having died during the Ottoman–Safavid war, Zeynel Bey was buried in the courtyard of this madrasa in 1587. The madrasa is currently being prepared for tourism by the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism.
