Turning left (west off the main road) from the Paşaoluğu plateau on the Kadirli–Andırın highway, one reaches the Kalealtı road fork after 4 km. Turning right off the main road, one arrives at Kalealtı Castle after 1,200 m. Almost the entire castle gate is intact and standing. It was built of local materials on a steep rock all around. On the eastern side there are two bastions; the remains of one stand 8 m high and the other 3 m high. It is a classic medieval castle. Of the two-section bastion to the south, one side is three stories and the other two stories.
