It is thought to have been built in the 1870s. Left idle after the population exchange, the church had a mezzanine added and was used first as a school and then as a warehouse. It is single-aisled, with doors and windows on its north, south, and west facades; built of rubble stone, its frescoes were covered over with plaster. After being restored in 2007, the building was once again left to its fate, and as it has fallen into disrepair, it now awaits the day it will be restored anew.
