The Varda Viaduct is a railway viaduct at Hacıkırı (Kıralan) village in the Karaisalı district of Adana Province, built by German engineers as part of the Baghdad Railway. Constructed between 1905 and 1916 by the Philipp Holzmann company, it entered service in 1916 and was officially inaugurated on 9 October 1918. The eleven-arch stone structure is 172 metres long and 98 metres high, known locally as the "German Bridge" or "Big Bridge," and famous for featuring in the opening chase of the 2012 James Bond film Skyfall.
