Editor's Note
Pozantı railway station lies within the Taurus Mountains in the town of Pozantı and is the northernmost station in Adana Province. Owing to its location near the Cilician Gates, it was historically a resting stop for trains crossing the range. Opened on 21 December 1912 by the Baghdad Railway, it today serves the Erciyes and Taurus express routes linking Konya and Kayseri to Adana.
