The building is entered through a door on its south side. The castle was built on a rocky base using rough-hewn and rubble stone. Its southwest and north ends are completely ruined. Apart from this, the defensive walls on the south side still stand. The castle's entrance gate is quite striking. The gate consists of two sections. In the first, at the upper level, there is a pointed arch built of cut stone between the walls of the bastions on the southeast and southwest. Above this arch is a long, narrow arrow slit. The main gate of the building is rectangular in form, set back about 50 cm behind the pointed-arched section.
