It was built in 1935. It is an important building where educational and cultural activities were carried out during the Republican period. With the closure of the people's houses (halkevleri) in 1951, it fell into disuse. In 1959 it was transferred to the Ministry of National Education and was long used as a Practical Girls' Vocational School.
