Editor's Note
Amblada (Asartepe) is an ancient settlement situated on a hilly area at the midpoint between the Kavak, Kizilca and Yenice villages of Seydisehir - that is, to the north of Yenicekoy, west of Kavak village and south of Kizilca village. Known for its close ties with the Kingdom of Pergamon, the ancient city of Amblada was first under the Kingdom of Pergamon and later, in the time of Amyntas, under the rule of the Galatians. During the Roman Empire it was attached to the provinces of Galatia and Lycaonia.
