Editor's Note
Today there are a small number (10-12) of Ottoman stone gravestones and a few historic wooden graves. Because the cemetery was unwisely burned in the early 21st century in order to clear the weeds, most of the graves have been scorched, cracked or blackened. When graves are dug, skeletons still frequently come to light. Unfortunately some historic gravestones, after being read, have been discarded and replaced with newly made marble ones.
