Editor's Note
The school opened for instruction on 29 October 1937 under the name Ileri Primary School and was built during the term of Governor Ruknettin Nasuhoglu. The provincial council gave the school the name 'Ileri'; in the 1964-1965 school year it was renamed 'Cengiz Topel', but in the 1966-1967 school year its name was changed back to 'Ileri Primary School'. In 2012 it was reclassified as a middle school.
