Editor's Note
This is a Corinthian-capital column standing in the Toros Passage, which was built on the site of the former Toros Hotel. It has stood in the same spot since the 1930s and is believed to have been brought from the ancient city of Zephyrion in central Mersin or from the ancient city of Soli.
