Editor's Note
It was built by Daltaban oğlu Mehmet Paşa, who for a time ruled Kilis and its district (1782-1788) and was later honoured with the title of "Paşa." The bath, with its walls of coloured, neatly dressed cut stone and its dome of brick, dates from 1785. From the crown portal one passes into a corridor, and from there, through a low arched entrance, into the disrobing (cold) section. The iwans in this section are covered with barrel vaults, and the central area with a dome.
