Three of the corner piers that supported the upper covering of the wayside open-air prayer area (menzil namazgâhı) beside the cistern still survive. The mihrab stone of the structure is also extant. It is thought to have been built around the same time as the adjacent cistern. The cistern beside it bears an inscription and was built in 1762-63. See: Asst.
