Editor's Note
The Church of Aya Nikola in Bodrum was a Greek Orthodox church dedicated to Saint Nicholas. After the Greek-Turkish population exchange it was used as a sponge depot, a cinema and a public education centre. In 1969 it was demolished in a controlled manner following a structural-decay report; its remains lie in Hilmi Uran Square on Cumhuriyet Avenue.
