Editor's Note
Built in 1409, this is the oldest dated structure surviving from the Ramazanoğlu period. It was commissioned by Şehabeddin Ahmet, one of the Ramazanoğlu lords. Square in plan, it has a single dome and a single space. Its body walls resemble a cube with chamfered corners above the corner walls. The rich ornamentation on the marble frame of the entrance door can be linked to the Seljuk tradition. Source: Adana Governorship, Adana Urban Cultural Inventory, 2012
