Editor's Note
Located in the Ali Ağa neighbourhood, about 150 metres south of the Yağ Mosque, this building - whose original name is the Hasan Kethüdâ Mosque - cannot be dated with certainty. According to a popular local tradition, it was built while Ramazanoğlu Pîrî Paşa was away from Adana serving as governor-general, using materials left over from the construction of the Ulu Mosque, by his steward Hasan Ağa, son of Abdullah, who oversaw that project.
