Editor's Note
Adana Science High School is the building used in 1909 for orphaned Armenian children. In 1919 it was allotted to the Assyrians by the French government. Cemal Pasha, one of the leading figures of the Committee of Union and Progress, took office as Governor of Adana in 1909. During his tenure, the idea arose of building a school in the centre of Adana for Armenian children who had lost their fathers, and Cemal Pasha led the way in having the school built for the Armenian orphans.
