The Çerçi Yusuf Mansion was built in 1922 (1341 AH). It was constructed using masonry and a timber-frame system. The mansion, in which the influence of the hot Mediterranean climate on its architecture can be observed, has its façade facing south so the interior stays cool in summer and warm in winter. On the lowest of its four floors, arranged around a wide, airy courtyard, are a larder, a stable where Çerçi Yusuf's horse was once kept in the mansion's early days, and a kitchen. The walls of this floor are thick and the ceilings high. Its windows are set high up to protect the family's privacy.
